New Swiss branch comes to fruition

 

Inauguration of Prince’s foundation in Switzerland

Switzerland became the new focus of Monegasque environmentalism as a new branch of the foundation created by Prince Albert II was opened by the sovereign in Geneva recently.

Having now established branches of his environmental foundation in France, the UK and the United States, the Prince attended the official opening of its newest addition - the Swiss branch - at the Hôtel Président Wilson.

The Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco-Suisse aims to support and give credence to projects and initiatives of various groups and organizations poised at tackling environmental problems in Switzerland.

Over the coming months, Singapore, Germany and Italy are the next countries in the Prince’s sights. Belgium has also expressed a desire to be represented within the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco in the next few months, which comes only weeks after talks regarding environmental policies were held in Brussels during Prince Albert’s official visit.
